The AN/PEQ-2A is a AA battery powered weapon-mounted IR aiming laser and illuminator hardened for use on all small arms and crew-served weapons.  The AN/PEQ-2A is the U.S. Military standard for direct fire aiming and illumination.  It provides an adjustable focus IR illuminator with separate IR aim laser with individual bore sight adjusters. The AN/PEQ-14 (ILWLP) is a aiming device incorporating a co-aligned infrared and visible aim laser as well as fixed focus infrared illuminator and white light illuminator.  It enables an operator to engage far targets  or in close at close range in limited visibility or total darkness.  It mounts to M9 pistols, other pistols, and long guns equipped with M1913 rail.  The WL1-AA LED Tactical Light can be used with or without visible laser.  It offers powerful performance on readily available AA batteries. The Quick Release Rail-Grabber™ mount provides fast and solid attachment while maintaining a low profile.  It provides a 4-position selector switch, a tool-free Quick Release Rail-Grabber that fits MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and Universal rails, momentary-on, constant-on, and strobe modes and is fully compatible with Alkaline AA batteries.
IR Lasers are restricted to Law Enforcement and Government sales only and cannot be sold to civilians. Purchase of IR Laser equipment can only occur at the Department, Agency, or Unit level. IR Lasers cannot be sold to individual Law Enforcement, Military, Government, or Contractor personnel. No exceptions.
